Guillermo Rosas

He obtained his Doctor’s degree in Sacred Liturgy in 1995 (Sant’Anselmo, Rome), he has dedicated several years to teaching, promoting, and studying it; with the conviction that it is an action of the Church that makes us enter into the heart of the presence and action of God in humanity. The liturgical year, the space and beauty of it, liturgical theology, and music are some of the areas he is most passionate about and that he has dedicated most of his time to, for teaching, research, and written production.

He has collaborated for several years with the Comisión Nacional de Liturgia (National Commission for Liturgy) in Chile, and as of 1995 at CELAM and its training center, currently CEBITEPAL; he was a founding partner of the Asociación Chilena de Liturgistas, ACHILIT (Chilean Liturgists Association) in 2013, and has also collaborated in several universities and training instances of the Church. Since 2017, he is a member of the editorial team of the PHASE journal (Barcelona) and participates in three international and interdisciplinary research instances. He is a follower and priest of Congregación de los Sagrados Corazones (Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary).

As such, he has served mostly in ministries for youth, university, and school students. For the last nine years, he has been supporting the Pastoral de la Diversidad Sexual (Ministry for Sexual Diversity) in Santiago of Chile.
