Presbyter of the Archdiocese of Santiago de Chile (ordained 1985). Magister in Theology at the PUC (Santiago, 1990). Doctorate at PUG (Rome, 1993) thesis: “The spiritual senses, particularly “the touch of God” in St. John of the Cross”, directed by Charles-André Bernard sj. At the Faculty of Theology, undergraduate and graduate teaching, director of general formation, director of research and graduate studies; member of the Faculty Council for three terms; director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Edith Stein for three consecutive terms until 2022. Director of Magister theses on St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Bonaventure, John of the Cross, Teresa of Jesus, Raul Zurita, Edith Stein and Pope Francis; has directed 4 Doctorates in Edith Stein. He was spiritual director at the Pontifical Seminary (until 2002); parochial vicar, Delegate Judge for the canonization of the Servant of God Mario Hiriart; Episcopal Vicar for education, Ecclesiastical Assistant for ACN. He participates in the editorial committee of the Weekly Reflection of the PUC. In addition to academic teaching, he carries out spiritual animation services in various dioceses in Chile and abroad. He has also participated in international congresses. He has participated as co-investigator in 10 Fondecyt projects and 1 as responsible. Participation in the interdisciplinary study for Medianoche, a play based on Diálogo Nocturno by Edith Stein. At the Edith Stein Center, he is the current coordinator.
