Franco Rojas

Adjunct Academic Instructor of the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile since 2023. He was born in Melipilla, Chile, in 1994. He did his undergraduate studies in theology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile from 2013 to 2017, obtaining a Magna cum laude qualification in 2018. From 2019 to 2022, he completed his master’s studies at the same university on Dogmatic Theology, obtaining a Summa cum laude qualification. In those formative years, he worked as an assistant of different chairs of systematic theology (2014-2022), as director of communications of the UC Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Edith Stein (2019-2022), administrative assistant of the Manuel Larraín Theological Center (2017 and 2022) and technical staff of different FONDECYT projects on the prenicenean era, Vatican Council II and Latin American theology.

He taught at DUOC UC (Melipilla Campus) in 2018. Between 2023 and 2024, he was a professor at Universidad Alberto Hurtado and Executive Coordinator of the UC Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Edith Stein.

He is currently deputy director of research at the same Faculty. He teaches General Formation courses on themes of hope and Christian eschatology. Along with this, he is a member of the Manuel Larraín Theological Center, the UC Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Edith Stein and the Chilean Society of Theology.
