Center for the study of Religion

The "Center for the study of Religion" is the first in Chile and Latin America dedicated to this topic from various points of view so as to contribute to the understanding of the meaning of Religion for human, personal and social development.

An academic institution for joint research and dialogue for the following Faculties of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile: Arts, Communications, Law, Education, Philosophy, Social Sciences, Linguistics and Literature, History, Geography, Political Science and Theology.

Its research topics are: human rights, religion, interreligious dialogue, religious education, art and culture.  

This Center offers an Academic Certificate titled "Religion and Culture in the XXI Century, Coincidences and Differences", and a Diploma on "Studies on Religion", inaugurated in 2015.
